Clark and me at an art show in downtown St. Pete, FL. |
It was there that a friend from church invited me to a Stampin’ Up! event and I was hooked. I have always had a craft of some kind in my life. In high school I sewed my own clothes and worked at a store called Cloth World. Then I got into cross stitching. Then when I got married and had kids, scrapbooking was a big thing. I scrapbooked everything when my kids were little. Then digital scrapbooking became popular and I did that. I loved it, but missed “real” crafting. So when my Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Liz invited me to her event the timing was perfect. That was almost 20 years ago and I’ve been stamping ever since.
Here's Bella! |
My hubby and I are empty nesters now and we miss our two young adult kids. One is in grad school almost 600 miles away and the other is a world traveler and seasonal worker. Thankfully Clark and I have a cock-a-poo named Bella to keep us company.
Lastly I thought I would share with you my humble stamping area. It's not a whole room, rather a wall in our guest room. I always want the kids to feel like they can come home anytime. I feel blessed to have this space, because for years I had to stamp out in the garage, which in Florida can be downright dreadful at times!

Well thanks so much for stopping by my "About Me" page today!
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, and leaving a lovely comment. I must confess I have to update my stamp room pictures. We are still in the same home, but when my youngest moved out, I made her little room my new stamp room. You've encouraged me to get that cleaned up soon and post new pictures. ♥ thank you. I love your craft room, it is so well organized, and that light is fabulous hanging from the top and out of the way for crafting. The window is also a blessing. Thank you again ♥PJ
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure PJ! I am glad you have a new space to craft. I will have to get over and check out your new pictures soon. And I’m glad we can inspire each other!
