Stamp Simply Sunflower Season

Welcome crafty friends! We have another wonderful challenge for you to play along with over at Word Art Wednesday today. And the really good news is that our sponsor this round is Stamp Simply and they're giving away a 25.00 gift certificate!

For my card, I'm using a stamp and die set from Stamp Simply. It's called "Sunflower Season." It's one of my favorites. And the stamps are available just by themselves as well. You can find them HERE.

I really love this set because Ecclesiastes is my all-time favorite book of the Bible. A lot of people feel it's depressing, but I think it's so pertinent to today's life. And perhaps I am a bit of a melancholy in the way that King Solomon was. However I think we all can agree that  this verse from Ecclesiastes 3:1 is a big encouragement for sure.

Another thing I like about this card is that the patterned paper, with the rings of the tree trunk, kind of go along with the "seasons of life" theme. Just a little bonus!

Here's my complete supply list:

  • Stamp Simply Sunflower Season Stamp and Die Set
  • Speckletone True White Card Stock
  • Stampin' Up! Daffodil Delight Card Stock
  • Pebbles "Harvest Cutting Board" Patterned Paper
  • SU! Soft Suede Ink
  • Copic Markers

And, as always, we have a beautiful Bible verse for you to download and use either on a card, in a journal or anywhere else you can think of! Here is that verse for this round:

Stamp Simply has some wonderful stamps that we know you'll love. As usual, our challenge is "Anything Goes" so create something beautiful and join in the fun! We always appreciate every one of our wonderful entries!

This was a really fun card to make, and I have just the friend that I'll be sending it to in early November. The card started out as a 5 x 7, but then I realized I had some clear envelopes that are just a tad bigger than that, so I added the light blue back panel. I've already got the envelope stamped. You can see it below. I think she'll like getting this in her mailbox!

The butterfly is tilted as if he's flying away! Well that's all for today. I'm so glad you stopped bu, and please check out our fun new challenge over at Word Art Wednesday! We love seeing not only everything that you create, but hearing about your lives as well!
