Lawn Fawn Giveaway at Word Art Wednesday

Welcome to another round of wonderful prizes over at Word Art Wednesday! This time our sponsor is none other than the wonderful Lawn Fawn! If you've been stamping for even a short while, you'll not doubt recognize their adorable little critters and whimsical scenes. They're giving away a $25.00 gift certificate to anything in their store, so grab some stamps (thety don't have to be the Lawn Fawn brand) and join in the fun! Our challenges are always anything goes!

One of my favorite sets from Lawn Fawn is called Making Frosty Friends. I have so much fun each time I use these adorable snowmen. What makes this set special is all the fun components that there are to work with. The mittens and top hat are my favorites.

I created two cards with this set. The pink will be perfect for one of those times when you need to send a wintery card past Christmas because the sentiment is perfect for anytime in the winter.

Here's my supply list for these:

• Lawn Fawn Making Frosty Friends Stamp Set
• Lawn Fawn All That Sparkles Background Paper (Pink Card)
• Lawn Fawn Merry Messages Stamp Set
• Lawn Fawn
• Memento Black Ink
• Copic Markers
• Michaels Card Stock
• Stampin Up! Patterned Paper
• SU! Real Red Card Stock
• Washi Tape
• White Embossing Powder

And of course, we always have a beautiful scripture for you to use if you would like. Here is the one for this round:

We would love to have you join us and hopefully you’ll even win the $25 prize! Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

Frosty Friends for Word Art Wednesday

Today is a really exciting day for me! I just joined the Word Art Wednesday design team! I'm so excited to be a part of this great group, and to kick off Challenge for Weeks #706 and #707, I've created a card using a stamp set from their sponsor, Lawn Fawn. One lucky winner will be chosen randomly at the end of this challenge and that person will win a $25.00 Lawn Fawn Gift Certificate! That's enough to purchase the stamp set I used for this challenge and then some!

Here's my complete supply list:

• Lawn Fawn Frosty Friends Stamp Set
• Copic Markers
• White Card Stock
• Patterned Christmas Paper
• Silver Paper (Michaels)
• Glitter Paper (Joann's)
• Memento Black Ink
• Stampin' Up! Real Red Ink

What I love about this set is that it's not just limited to Christmas. If you're running a little late on your card sending, this set is perfect for a winter wish. And all the little details are just so, so cute!

You can purchase the set directly from Lawn Fawn here. But regardless of what card you make, please join us over at Word Art Wednesday for a really fun challenge. You can choose to use the scripture that they provide, or use anything you like. It's always Anything Goes and we'd love to have you play along!

In The Meadow...

Here we are in December already! Time goes way too quickly these days. I had hoped to make more Christmas cards by now, but I still have a few weeks so that's good.

The first card of this month is called "In The Meadow...." with thoughts of the timeless song that continues "we can build a snowman..."

I really do love snow even though I'm here in Florida. I have many fond memories of playing as a child, then playing with my own children, in the snow. There's really nothing that says "Christmas" quite like snow, although my mom reminds me that Jesus was born in Jerusalem and that it doesn't really snow there are that it really has nothing to do with Christmas.

Bah humbug!

This card will be entered into two challenges: 1) NBUS Challenge #69 because I bought this set last year from Mark of the Angel Card Project and haven't used it until this card and 2) WORD ART WEDNESDAY"S Challenge 675 & 676 because they have great challenges that are always "anything goes."

Here's my complete supply list:

• Lawn Fawn's Making Frosty Friends
• Lawn Fawn's Merry Messages
• Patterned Paper (gifted from a friend)
• Stampin' Up! Mossy Meadow Card Stock
• SU! Pear Pizzazz Card Stock
• Memento Black Ink
• Stickles Star Dust Glitter
• Copic Markers

Thanks so much to everyone who makes these challenges

possible time after time. I really appreciate the inspiration and the ability to share!

This card is a little bigger than even a regular slimline so I think it's going to take a bit more postage to send it to someone. Hopefully they will like and appreciate snow!
