Word Art Wednesday Easter Card

There's a new challenge going on over at Word Art Wednesday, and this round's sponsor is a company called Stix 2 Anything. They are a UK company that is giving away a generous adhesive package. And if you're like me, adhesive is something that I go through very quickly and can never have too much of.

For my card, I started with the Bible verse that Word Art Wednesday provided. Then I created the word  Jesus in Canva. It has a slight arch to it, and the font is called Mervale Script.  I ran this through the printer twice, knowing that I would cut it down to a 5 x 7 card. I thought I had plenty of room, but looking at it after I got the 3 images on the top, I wish I had made the printing a bit lower. That's why the pink hearts are there, to kind of balance it out.

Here's my complete supply list:

I love this set because it has so many
individual images to work with, in
addition to plenty of patterned papers.

  • Stampin' Up! Bubble Bath Card Stock
  • Sticker Black Lace (a thrift store find that I wish I had tons more of!)
  • Word Art Wednesday Bible Verse
  • Jesus Word (created in Canva and is available below)
  • The Paper Boutique Springtime Travel Printed Paper
  • Black Card Stock
  • Papertrey Hibiscus Burst Card Stock
  • Spellbinders Heart Die

I was able to locate the paper pack I used HERE. I have never bought from this company before, but the price on this is really good. Likewise, there is a similar one HERE at scrapbook.com. I love to shop there because they have a lot of patterned papers that are lovely. Plus they have great sales, coupon codes and freebies with every order. (NOTE: I don't get any compensation for saying that!)

Here is our Bible verse for this round:

I think this is so perfect for an Easter card!

And if you'd like to use my Jesus word, feel free to grab it here. The background is transparent and should lay next to the verse with no problem. Somehow, if I combine them and upload it, it comes out blurry. Plus this way you can make each image as big or as small as you want.

So no matter what you've got on your mind (and your craft desk) create something fun and come over and join us. You never have to use the scripture or the sponsor's products. And our challenge is always "anything goes." We love to see what you're up to! 🐌
